The therapists at Brookland Pastoral Center set their own fees and make their own decisions about offering a reduced fee.

Our services are covered by insurance. If you have an insurance plan that has preferred providers or networks of providers, some of our therapists may be covered, most are not. Sometimes insurance plans have out-of-network mental health benefits. If yours does, we would probably be covered.

It is important to realize that some of your privacy rights are sacrificed when you elect to use your insurance coverage. Many insurance companies now have a managed care component which attempts to assess the need for treatment based on certain information which can include but is not limited to diagnosis, background information, symptoms, and goals.
